I have a positive outlook on life with an easy going nature. The rain doesn't dampen my spirit or my smile. I'm quietly confident, like my independence and enjoy a challenge. Although I ended up wasting my school days, I'm now studying with the Open University for a Humanities/Arts degree - just for the fun of it and my personal satisfaction. I divorced a few years ago, my choice, my son and daughter are grown up and I've enjoyed having some ME time. Working with children has kept me young at heart but I sold my pre-school business a couple of years ago when the mounting paperwork and increasing regulations took the fun out of it. Since then I've been enjoying a gap year, which has crept into 2, indulging in other interests - reading, gardening, dabbling in short story and poetry writing, studying my OU courses, strolling around London galleries, taking endless photographs of 'stuff' and I've started visiting European cities. Latest was Narbonne - I took the Eurostar to Paris then the TGV - what a relaxing way to travel. I like to dress up in my posh frock and heels for a night on the town, but am just as happy chilling out in my jeans for a country/coastal walk; or snuggled up on the sofa with a glass of wine and a favourite book or dvd. I'm happy being who I am and love my life. But it would be nice to have someone to dress up for, chill out with and snuggle up to. Whilst I'm not looking to settle down 24/7 just yet, I have a lot to give to that 'special someone'.
